Welcome to the new Seattle Stonewall FC website!

Stonewall F.C. is Seattle's premier gay men's soccer team. We are also the men's competitive team within the Rain City Soccer Club. We play year round in the Greater Seattle Soccer League and indoor at Starfire Sports Complex during the winter season. We like to play hard, have fun and win!

Stonewall F.C. also assembles a team to compete in regional, national, and international tournaments including the OutGames, Gay Games and the International Gay and Lesbian Football Association (IGLFA) World Championships.

Stonewall FC under new management

We regretfully inform, that our long time leader and inexhaustible manager, Tyler Juel, decided to leave Seattle and start a new life adventure in San Francisco, CA. As he cannot possibly live without soccer, he will be trying out for San Francisco Spikes, but to end his Stonewall career with a blast, he will join the team for this year Gay Games in Cologne.

As of February 10th Kalviny Man has graciously agreed to step up as our new Stonewall manager. In this role Viny will manage and oversee fundraising, website, captains, strategic planning of team goals, finance and administration. Viny brings with him more than 8 years of managing multiple teams within Rain City Soccer Club and most recently added the title of Club Treasurer in 2007. His demonstrated leadership as a strong team manager is exactly what we need to continue our efforts for another successful campaign for the Gay Games. He will work collaboratively with each of the coordinators to ensure Stonewall's activities and goals are always on track! After the Gay Games this summer, the team will host an election where all current players are eligible to run for the team manager position. Thank you, Viny!

Captain's Corner

Summer Season Wrap-up
Congratulations on finishing out Summer season. We finished up 4 place, right in the middle of the bracket. For a summer season with a lot of subs and players devoted to Cologne, we should be happy with this result. The team has improved since last season and I feel we have some great momentum on the team with a lot of skill. We have a very strong dedicated roster for Fall Season and I'm looking forward to us doing even better in Divison 2.

Stonewall BBQ
We have many things to celebrate, things to look forward to, and new Stonewall Brothers to welcome. In honor of these things, I'll be hosting a fun BBQ at my place. Stonewall isn't just a soccer team, it's a Brotherhood. You're my friends and my family. And your own families are an extension to that. So please bring your boyfriends\girlfirend\husbands\wives. Kids are welcome too.

Stonewall Uniforms
No more tape! It's time to look sharp boys. I promised you uniforms and I'm keeping this promise. These uniforms will be the property of Stonewall. Uniforms will be handled out at the beginning of the season and taken back at the end of the season. Upon receipt of your uniform, you'll sign a contract that says you have received a uniform and will return at the end of the season. If you lose any piece of the uniform you will be held responsible for paying for the piece or buying a new one. Jared and I feel that this is fair for Stonewall to have a set of uniforms every season. Please let us know if you have questions and/or concerns.

The following 17 players have expressed an interest and have been identified as Fall Season Full-Time members:
Kalviny Mann (Manager), Jared Auckland (Captain), Evan Luckey (Captain), Brad Fox (Field Manager), Brandon Perkins, Scott Ochs, Nader Mohamed, Szymek Zaleski, Neil Palmer, Devin Liner, Aaron Kirschenmann, Tom Abrams, Brandon Rust, Ian Keate, Jamie Johnstone, Brant Chase and Brian Rash.
Full-Time players are expected to:

Pay Season Dues in a timely manner - by the 3rd game
RSVP to games in a timely manner on TeamCowboy prior to each game - by Wednesday
Have a GSSL Card
Arrive at games 45 minutes early ready to stretch and warmup.
Bring a friendly but competitive spirit. Stonewall's motto has been, "We like to play hard, have fun and win!"
Attend and participate in Stonewall Events and Fundraisers

Substituting players (expected to have a GSSL card, show up 45 minutes early and bring the Stonewall attitude) are Faisal Alshememry, TJ Landry, Adam Andrews, Scott Wisebrauner, Sean Liner and Tyler Juel.
