Welcome to the new Seattle Stonewall FC website!
Stonewall F.C. is Seattle's premier gay men's soccer team. We are also the men's competitive team within the Rain City Soccer Club. We play year round in the Greater Seattle Soccer League and indoor at Starfire Sports Complex during the winter season. We like to play hard, have fun and win!
Stonewall F.C. also assembles a team to compete in regional, national, and international tournaments including the OutGames, Gay Games and the International Gay and Lesbian Football Association (IGLFA) World Championships.

After winning the gold medal of World Outgames 2009 in Copenhagen, Stonewall F.C. has now begun a bid to the 2010 GayGames in Cologne, Germany. Over the past couple of years Stonewall has refocused its energy as a highly competitive team with a dream to win gold on the world stage. But it takes more than great football to achieve this ambitious goal and you can help today!
The team is hosting a number of fundraising events in the upcoming months but you can make a donation online to your favorite player. The funds raised through this online campaign will go towards direct expenses for the 2010 GayGames and will help make our dreams a reality. Stonewall FC under new management
We regretfully inform, that our long time leader and inexhaustible manager,
Tyler Juel, decided to leave Seattle and start a new life adventure in San Francisco, CA. As he cannot possibly live without soccer, he will be trying out for San Francisco Spikes, but to end his Stonewall career with a blast, he will join the team for this year Gay Games in Cologne.
As of February 10th
Kalviny Man has graciously agreed to step up as our new Stonewall manager. In this role Viny will manage and oversee fundraising, website, captains, strategic planning of team goals, finance and administration. Viny brings with him more than 8 years of managing multiple teams within Rain City Soccer Club and most recently added the title of Club Treasurer in 2007. His demonstrated leadership as a strong team manager is exactly what we need to continue our efforts for another successful campaign for the Gay Games. He will work collaboratively with each of the coordinators to ensure Stonewall's activities and goals are always on track! Thank you, Viny!
After the Gay Games this summer, the team will host an election where all current players are eligible to run for the team manager position.
Fundraising Update
Brian Rash has agreed to join
Steve Nick as a co-fundraising coordinator for the Cologne Gay Games. He will work with Steve and management to ensure fundraising benchmarks are met, steward existing sponsor relationships, research new funding opportunities, hold players accountable for fundraising activities and write clear and concise communications to the team. Welcome to the team Brian, you will have the support and cooperation from everyone in this endeavor!
The management has also committed to improve communication for all fund/friend-raising activities. This includes advance notice, creating facebook events for all activities and email updates with upcoming team events and clearly defined expectations.
